The Happy Childhood journey began with a heartfelt mission

To provide every child the opportunity for a happy and balanced development. We are dedicated to creating an environment filled with affection and respect, where each child’s personality, talents, and safety are honored.

Our goal is to turn every child’s destiny into a triumphant smile, even in the face of adversity.

This initiative was inspired by a life-changing event that left one of it’s member completely paralysed, the family decided to focus their efforts into an initiative dedicated to rehabilitation for children in Lebanon. This pivotal decision shaped the foundation’s mission and has driven our ongoing commitment to helping children overcome physical challenges.

In 2012, we inaugurated our first Laetitia Hatem Rehabilitation Center in Lebanon, quickly establishing it as a beacon of rehabilitation excellence.

We offer a comprehensive range of therapies, including physical, occupational, speech, pool, and psychomotor therapy, alongside psychological and social support.

Our center has provided full rehabilitation care to hundreds of underprivileged children suffering from various conditions such as spinal cord injuries, brain traumas, cerebral palsy, muscular and skeletal impairments, and orthopedic traumas.

The impact of our work is profound. Many of our young patients have regained their autonomy and self-esteem, paving the way for better educational opportunities, social inclusion, and the potential for professional careers.

We strive to ensure these children grow into independent, responsible members of their communities, living dignified and fulfilling lives.

Our second center is being inaugurated this year in 2024 in Adma at the Cortbawi hospital to increase our reach and get closer to children living further away from Beirut.
